Munich, Germany - March 15, 2005 - IRIDAS, a pioneer in uncompressed playback technologies, today announced the release of FrameCycler Professional 3.5, the newest version of the leading resolution-independent review and analysis software. FrameCycler 3.5 is based on the MP (multi-platform) architecture which IRIDAS introduced in 2004.

Along with the ability to play 2K frame sequences at 24 frames per second, and its proven sequence analysis toolset, FrameCycler 3.5 offers a host of new features and enhancements - including a new sequence browser with animated thumbnails, A/B channel playback, RAW conversion support, new capabilities for the popular Interactive Zoom Window, and advanced timing controls. FrameCycler 3.5 is also the first uncompressed playback application available on all three major platforms: Mac, PC, and Linux.

"FrameCycler has become a critical tool in our multi-platform production pipeline," said Rob Taylor of San Diego's Pendulum Studios. "Not only does its playback functionality stand out above all others, but it provides the same operability whether we're in the 3D phase of production on our Windows workstations, compositing on our OS X Mac G5s, or presenting dailies to our clients from either our PC or Mac-based RAIDs."

"Version 3.5 confirms FrameCycler's position as the fastest, most reliable playback tool available," said IRIDAS CEO Lin Kayser. "Whatever environment they're working in, FrameCycler simply helps artists get their work done more quickly with less hassle."

FrameCycler Professional 3.5 is available immediately from IRIDAS for Mac, PC, and Linux. Licenses cost $249 per seat and are transferable across platforms. Site licenses and educational pricing are also available. Upgrades from version 3.0 (FrameCycler MP) are free. For more information visit www.iridas.com or all IRIDAS USA at (818) 951-8927.
