how to animate the hair

Hi evryone
can any one tell me how can I animate the hair or fog so they can folow the wind . Or if there's a link of such a tutorials or better video tutorials

Er... hair? What kinda hair? if you're using Shag: hair, (or fur, for that matter) you can use the dynamics roll out.

Same question for fog. What fog? I think it's a bit easier with Afterburn than with the fog atmospheric effect. With the latter i once made a scene move as a whole (all objects), so it looked like the fog moved, but i guess there must be an easier way. Can't help you with that though.

you could try using particles for fog. hair would be very plugin-dependent. as mosq. sais, there must be some dynamics in teh hair plugins themselves. if you mean textured hair... use simcloth or maxxes dynamics to animate that?

get a plugin that uses splines to shape the hair(but renders as realistic hair)then use reactor and apply the rope modifier and add wind to the scene,this should make the splines move with the wind and in turn animate the hair.
ive never tried this before because ive never needed to..but it should work

one more question how to make hair buy afterburn? i never try to do that?
